Membership

Membership is open to all persons interested in the LaPerm breed as a Native American breed, derived from the colony of Barn cats found in The Dalles, Oregon.

Membership is NOT open to those people who feel they need to change the breed by out-crossing to other purebreds or to advance the LaPerm breed in any manner other than the use of the domestic cat of unknown origins.

Founding Membership was closed October 31, 2008

Founding membership closed October 31, 2008.  Founding members vote, receive quarterly newsletters, other literature; can be Committee member, Chair or Officer.  The membership is listed with (F) designation for Founding member.  The (F) designation will remain for the life of the membership with LFI, as long as dues are kept current, and you are not found in violation of the LFI Code of Ethics, or under suspension from CFA, TICA or other cat registry.

Fees:  $15.00 per membership if written materials are sent electronically, if written materials are sent via regular mail $25.00; $28.00 in Canada and $30.00 overseas. All fees must be in US Dollars.  If you use PayPal, PayPal will convert funds for you automatically at no extra charge.

           
Associate Member (non-voting)   
Associate membership is open to all persons interested in the LaPerm breed.  You will receive quarterly newsletters, other literature; can be Committee member or Chair. Web listing as an Associated Member

Voting Member (receive quarterly newsletters & other literature, vote on club business, and listing in directory.  Directory is printed in the newsletter once yearly and distributed to general public.)

Fees:  $15 for individual (anywhere) or via snail mail: $25.00 USA, $28.00 Canada, and $30.00.International..
